Network Information Computer (SDH, PDH, SONET & ATM Analyzer)

The NIC can be configured in one of three chassis types. The 3 slot and 5 slot portable chassis can be configured with any of the NIC Protocol Processors to meet today's field test requirements. The Protocol Processors can be of various different technologies and bit rates from Nx64K testing on an E1 interface to 10 Gigabit Ethernet testing. PDH, SDH, SONET, Ethernet, ATM, serial interfaces and jitter & wander test capabilities are available. In addition to the multi-tasking capabilities of the Protocol Processors the NIC also features multi-user support. Up to 10 users can log into the NIC through any of the user interfaces. These interfaces include the local GUI, operated through the NIC touchscreen, instances of the remote control GUI running on remote workstations, and command line interfaces. Control can be through the use of an Ethernet connection, wireless LAN, dial-up modem connection or a serial port connection
